SE Pioneer Way Reconstruction
This project involves the reconstruction of approximately 2,400 linear feet of roadway within seven downtown business district blocks, replacing pavement, sidewalks, and appurtenances from building face to building face. The work includes the underground conversion of overhead power and telecommunications facilities, the installation of new sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and water. A major portion of the existing sanitary sewer system was rehabilitated using CIPP technology. Additional work includes, but not limited to, warm mix asphalt paving, all new concrete sidewalks, illumination and signal modifications, irrigation system, landscaping, and property restoration. The project is a GreenRoadsTM Pilot Project which has required extensive documentation and considerations for the environment.
